Why to Update WordPress Ping List

You write posts or blogs so often. Generally on trending topics but Google or other search engine take from days to weeks to index them and make the result of your blog appear on Search Results.

This all is handled by WordPress ping service also known as XML-RPC. By default the pingomatic ping service is pinged by WordPress itself whenever there is new post and then pingomatic pings all other services.

As per explanation by WordPress, this is done to reduce the traffic of shared hosting and nature of some Shared Hosting provider who don’t allow many bots to index.

By adding other ping services directly to your WordPress Ping List makes them to ping itself whenever there is new content. This saves the time for being routed through pingomatic and makes your webpage available faster than ever.

We have used multiple ping services after verifying all of them.

Steps for Updating WordPress Ping List

1. Login to your WordPress Admin panel.
2. Click on Setting > Writing and search for Update Services.
3. Copy the list of below ping services and paste in Text Box update service.
