Microsoft has released another major update for Windows 10 and it is called April 2018 Update (Version 1803). Microsoft Windows 10 April 2018 Update includes some the new features earlier available to Insiders.

Below are some of the new key features included in this Build of Windows.

1. Timeline : Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17063 available for PC in Fast Ring – As initially announced in Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17063, timeline will contain the file, web pages and documents you have visited in searchable timeline format. Also, the Timeline will be synchronized with Edge Browser and Microsoft Office 365 across multiple platforms including Android and iOS.
2. Nearby Sharing : Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17035 in Fast Ring – As first introduced in Insider Build 17035 last November, this Feature will use Bluetooth or WiFi to share files to nearby computers running on the same builds.
3. Focus Assist : This setting will work as Do Not Disturb feature on Android phones. You will not get any notifications during the set period and this can be set directly from Notification Center or from Display Setting. You can add exceptions (priority list) to get notifications from specific persons.
4. Microsoft Edge : With many more fixes and feature enhancements, some worth mentioning are Improvement in Reading View and Printing Webpages.

Apart from this, Windows Ink, Windows Hello, Windows Mixed Reality, Dictation, Microsoft Photos, PC Gaming, 3D Support, Accessibility improvements, Improvement and Addition of Draw feature in Microsoft Office applications and Cortana. But, if you did not get the update yet or even after checking for update, your system shows up to date, here is the setting you need to change.

On Windows Update Page, click on Advanced Options.

You will get screen like below after choosing highlighted option.

In above screen, you have to set Update Channel as Semi-Annual Channel (Targeted). This means, whenever the Update is available, it will be delivered. But in another channel, only builds those are highly stable and zero bug are delivered for organizational use to prevent possible problem.

After choosing Semi Annual Channel (Targeted), hit back for Update Page or visit Windows 10 Update page in settings screen.

You will be getting Notification for April 2018 Update (Build 1803) when you hit update now button.
