This time, we are back with an announcement from Facebook. Facebook, the social networking company has its native apps for every platform available across multiple devices like Windows Phone, Android, iOS, Windows PC, Web and WAP version. While the Android App for Facebook is updated over multiple time and made high data consuming and to give rich experience to users, app require faster internet connectivity but most of rural villages of India are still get to 3G connectivity. So Facebook has created a app and named it Facebook Lite and pushed it via Play Store to other countries on Europe on starting of this month.
Now they have made their app available to India users too. You can download this app from Google Play store by following link.
This app is less than 1 MB in size and created for 2G networks in mind.
