WWE No Mercy 2017 Live Results – 24th September 2017

We are back Live from Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA with 16106 WWE Universe members live in the arena and Micheal Cole, Booker T and Corey Graves are in the commentary desk for WWE No Mercy 2017 pay-per-view.

05:30 AM – WWE Started with its theme and immediately following promo for Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strawman, John Cena vs Roman Reigns, RAW Women’s championship matches are displayed.

05:35 – The Miz started No Mercy 2017 with the Miztourage and here comes Jason Jordan while we saw quick replay of last weeks segment between Jason Jordan and The Miz.

Match 1 – The Miz vs Jason Jordan for Intercontinental Championship

Jason Jordan started showing power with quick pinning attempt which The Miz kicked out at one. Kurtis Axle and Bo Dallas are at ringside try to distract. Jason Jordan hits a suplex and tries pinning attempt. The Miz rolls out of the ring and Jason sends him back in the ring. While Miztourage distracted Jason to allow The Miz dominate.

Miz hit a DDT and tries a pinning attempt which Jason Kicked off two. Jason hit a splash from top rope to pin which Miz kicked off for two. Miz countered with a vicious kick and started hitting Yes! Kicks to Jason Jordan in the middle of the ring. One of kick is turned to suplex by Jason Jordan and dominated the segment with pinning attempt. Jason hit two belly-to-belly suplex in a pinning attempt. After that Miz rolled out of the ring and a suplex to Kurtis Axle made both Miztourage members down.

Jason Jordan brings Miz in the ring and applies lock for submission which Miz countered by

Bo Dallas came into ring while Miz is down and when Jason Jordan hits Bo Dallas and rolls Miz to pin which Miz kicked off in two and half. Where Kurtis Axle hit a cheap shot and allows Miz to hit a skull crushing finale and pick up three count.

Winner: The Miz (Still Intercontinental Champion)

After match, Miz and Miztourage left ring and celebrating while Renee interviewed Jason Jordan and he said, he would love to have a rematch and Miz Actually do suck.

After the match, we saw quick promo of Shane McMahon vs Kevin Owen at Hell In  A Cell and Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor. Next is Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor. While Bray Wyatt is on the way for match, we saw quick promo of their match.

05:59 AM – Bray Wyatt is in the ring and its Finn Balor and Finn Balor is also in the ring.

Match 2 – Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt (Rematch of Summerslam)

Before referee calls for bell, Bray hit cheap shot and started attacking Finn Balor and throw him in barricade and commentary table. Finn Balor is hurt and officials are at ringside. Official are taking Finn to backstage. While Bray provokes him of not even being man and being coward. Finn Balor removes his shirt and heads to ringside.

As we remember, when Finn debuted last year Summerslam, he is injured between but finished the match winning. Which cost him lots of time off the ring.

Match is started and Bray is dominating injured Finn. Bray Wyatt is in mood to cause injury in actually and targeting with injured ribs to attack.

Finn Balor just did the same Bray did to him, dragged him inside the ring Apron and assault. This led Finn to dominate this segment of 2nd match at No Mercy 2017.

Finn Balor is in the top of the ring and Bray setup for the splash, suddenly Bray turned out and the look and fear in the Finn’s face can easily seen. However Finn overcome the surprise and fear and hit his move while Bray moved away from ring. Finn countered two Sister Abigail and hit double kick near the head of Bray for a pinning attempt. Bray kicked in two and half.

Next segment is dominated by Bray Wyatt and a pinning attempt and Finn kicked off on two. Its Bray Wyatt’s time dominate. While Bray Wyatt is laughing at the top rope, Finn is quick enough to dominate and hit finisher (Coup de Grace’s) from top rope for three count.

Winner: Finn Balor

After the match, we see Asuka promo and while stage is prepared for next match, we see Commentary team talking about next Pay-per-view TLC and backstage we see Cesaro and Sheamus who are asked about what adjustment you have made against summerslam? Cesaro and Sheamus said they don’t need to make adjustment, Seth and Dean need adjustment also they don’t set the bars instead they are the bars.

06:21 AM – Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are in the ring but both men are one by one and with their original theme songs. First Seth Rollins and now Dean Ambrose. They have their title rematch with Sheamus and Cesaro.

Sheamus and Cesaro are also coming to ring to use their rematch clause after Summerslam at No Mercy 2017.

Match 3 – Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs Sheamus & Sheamus for Tag Team championship

While both teams are in the ring, we see all commentators for different language including Hindi and all languages are available for Pay-per-view on WWE network.

Dean Ambrose and Sheamus started the match. Cesaro swings Dean Ambrose to steel stairs. While referee tells Cesaro to fight on the ring and Cesaro brings him in corner. Dean Ambrose is hurt and referee is checking him. Dean is ready for fight and doesn’t want to walk away while Cesaro is in the mood to punish him. Sheamus and Cesaro exchanged many tags since then and Dean Ambrose is getting beaten alone.

Dean Ambrose managed to tag Seth Rollins as Dean Ambrose countered Cesaro and knocked his teeth after hitting at ring-post. Seth Rollins managed to dominate but soon Cesaro throw Dean Ambrose out of ring and Seth Rollins has no one to tag. Cesaro and Sheamus has a double attack on Seth Rollins for pinning attempt which he kicked off two count.

Dean Ambrose hits a suicide dive to Sheamus and Cesaro and all men are out of the ring. Dean bring Sheamus and Sheamus tried a white noise from second rope which is countered by Dean.

Cesaro applied a figure four leg lock and cross-face lock to Dean Ambrose to capture their tag team titles in a failed attempt as Dean managed to touch ring.

This is one of the excellent match and you can not expect a better match than this. Sheamus and Cesaro has two moments which can be considered won. Sheamus hit a back drop to Dean Ambrose and Cesaro hit a power-bomb to Seth Rollins on Dean Ambrose’s body which should be more than enough to win which is countered by Dean Ambrose in pinning attempt. Which even WWE Universe can not believe.

In a attempt to kick Seth Rollins with Brouge kick, Sheamus accidentally hit that kick to Sheamus and then Seth Rollins hit Sheamus and Dean Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds to finish the match with three count.

This match is more than enough to put all members in future hall of fame class. This match made WWE No Mercy 2017 worth watching.

Winner: Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (Still Tag Team Champions)

After that match, we saw promo for fatal five way match for WWE RAW Women’s Championship.

Match 4: Nia Jax vs Alexa Bliss vs Bailey vs Emma vs Sasha Banks for RAW Women’s Championship

All the women are fighting each other and till time, Bailey and Sasha Banks are fighting like unit. Nia Jax tried a pinning attempt to Emma which is saved by Alexa Bliss. If only one person to loose is someone, she is Alexa Bliss. Even any member managed to pin anyone, she will win but Alexa will loose her championship. Bailey put a lock in Nia Jax which is helped by Emma and Alexa Bliss. Emma and Alexa throw Sasha into Bailey.

Emma and Bailey caught Nia in their back and kicks from Alexa and Sasha hit double kick from ring to put Nia down. After this, each women tries pinning each other for failed attempts.

Sasha capitalizes over Alexa and when Alexa is about to tap, Bailey interfered to save match, similarly when Bailey tried to pin Alexa, Sasha Banks saved and when Nia Jax is in the ring. Nia tries to hit but Alexa countered and Nia hit directly hit in the ring post. Alexa hit Bailey into Emma and a DDT to Bailey and pinned for three count.

Winner: Alexa Bliss (Still WWE RAW Women’s Championship)

We saw preview of Smackdown Live exclusive pay per view Hell In A Cell and tag team championship match between New Day and The Usos. And match replay between Batista and Eddie Guerrero from No Mercy 2005.

And we see the preview of John Cena vs Roman Reigns and segments from previous matches and verbal talks and their career highlights.

Match 5 – John Cena vs Roman Reigns

07:15 AM – John Cena heads to ring and after announcer introduces him, here comes Roman Reigns. When Roman makes his way to ring, John Cena is laughing. This Wrestle Mania worthy match is happening at No Mercy 2017 because John Cena has his Hollywood project and he might not be there build rivalry as they have built now.

07:21 AM – Referee has called for bell and match is started. Intense situation as the WWE Universe is about to see a historic match and is John Cena is going to officially change the face of company? This is the ongoing question.

John Cena walks away from ring and Roman brings him back to ring. Roman covers for count and John Cena kicked off for one count. John Cena hits Roman Reigns into stairs and Roman hits the same move to John Cena and a additional drive by in the ringside. Roman Reigns covers for second time but only for one count after his, he says Hit hard and throws some punches.

John Cena manages to set Roman Reigns for five knuckle shuffle and Roman Reigns gets back in the middle to give a Samoan drop. Roman Reigns is locked and loaded for superman punch which Cena countered with STF lock. Roman countered STF with a power-bomb and failed attempt for pin for two count.

Both men are exchanging fists. John Cena caught Roman Reigns in the mid air while Roman is coming for superman punch and hit a Attitude Adjustment and covered. Roman kicked off on two and half. John Cena is at top rope and tries to hit Roman which he countered for cover attempt.

Roman Reigns hit a superman punch to John Cena and covered, John Cena kicked on two count. Roman is set for spear and John Cena sidelines and drives Roman towards Ring Post.

John Cena hit an AA from top of the ring and covered but Roman Kicked off that thunderous AA. John Cena is clearing announcers desk and has evil intentions for Roman Reigns. John Cena plans for an AA from one table to another which Roman countered with spear and both men are down on a collapsed table.

Roman brings Cena in the ring and covers for pinning attempt which Cena kicked off. Roman Reigns is ready for spear which are countered for two back to back attitude adjustments and covers which Roman Kicked off on that. Both men are clueless on whick move left and waht to do.

07:43 AM- Roman Reigns hits a superman punch and a spear to get three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

However Roman Picked up win here but John Cena fans can easily understand that there no situation like to win only demand of story-line. When referee raises hand of Roman, he smiles and now John Cena and Roman Reigns are in the middle of the ring and John raises his hand tells something in the ear of Roman Reigns. Roman heads backstage while John Cena is still lying at ring corner and we can see sorrow and deep pain in Cena’s face.

Painful smile and audience cheering John Cena while he sits and bows to fans, watches around fans in the arena and walks backstage.

Backstage, we see Kurt Angle talking on mobile (possible with Vince) and talking about remaining match. Soon The Miz with Miztourage comes and proposes for Roman Reigns interview on Miz TV tomorrow episode of Monday Night RAW. Kurt Angle allows that and also said, you will kick off the show.

Match 6 – Enzo Amore vs Neville for Cruiserweight Championship

07:57 AM – While Neville is already on the ring Enzo Amore comes with microphone and coming insulting Neville.

Neville dominated the entire match and throws Enzo out of the ring. Referee counts for ten count and Enzo just manages to get into ring before 10 count. Neville hit a super-kick to Enzo and covers for two count.

After few more attempts, Neville prepares for Red Arrow and later changed hims mind for phoenix splash where Enzo rolls away from position to land him on the ring.

Neville throws Enzo in time keepers area and Neville comes into ring and referee counts for ten. When referee reach eight count, Enzo comes with championship title in his hand which distracted Neville and Neville rolls out of ring to grab Enzo. Enzo comes in ring with title and referee asks him to handover title, he gave title to referee and referee goes to give that to attendents, this is when match turned, ENzo hit a low blow to Neville which referee didn’t see and Enzo pinned Neville to become new Cruiserweight Champion.

Winner: Neville (New Cruiserweight Champion)

Next is Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman. While the things are being set-up, we see the preview and promo of Braun vs Brock Lesnar for Universal Championship.

Match 7 – Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman for Universal Championnship

Braun Strowman arrives in ring first and Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are next. This is the main event of WWE No Mercy 2017. Before match starts, here is verbal confrontation between both opponents in the ring. Jojo introduced Braun Strowman while Paul Haymen introduces Brock Lesnar as baddest in the planet.

08:20 AM – Referee called for bells and Brock Lesnar attacked Braun Strowman which Braun easily countered. Brock hit a suplex to Braun and Braun turned that to a choke-slam and covers for a pinning attempt.

Brock Lesnar tries to give suplex which are countered and a failed F5 attempt from Brock Lesnar. Braun Strowman is the punishing this time. Brock Lesnar applies Kimura which Brown Strowman tries to counter by hitting Brock Lesnar in the ring. Here comes Suplex City to Braun Strowman.

Three suplex in row, a fourth one, a fifth and Brock picked for F5 which Braun countered and converted in a powerslam but hand is injured due to Kimura and he is having problem to cover.

Brock Lesnar manages a F5 to Braun Strowman and pinned for three count.

Winner: Brock Lesnar (Still Universal Champion)

While coming to quick review of WWE No Mercy 2017, we have few good matches. Only one title change happened and that is Cruiserweight Championship from Neville to Enzo Amore. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins retained their Tag Team championship, Alexa Bliss retained her RAW Women’s Championship, Miz retained Intercontinental Championship and Roman Reigns winning over John Cena.

Our Review/rating of Matches

Match 1 – The Miz vs Jason Jordan – Miz retaining championship with the help of Kurtis Axle and Bo Dallas.

Rating – 2.5
